Secessionist group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has condemned the recent killings of Hindu civilians in Pahalgam and announced a humanitarian aid package of $500,000 for the victims, calling it a likely false flag operation carried out by Indian state agencies under the BJP government.

“Who benefits from the Pahalgam terror attack?” questioned SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

“Does the killing of Hindus lead to the independence of Kashmir? No. So who truly benefits? There is only one party: the BJP-led Indian government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

“As Sikhs, we know this pain,” the statement reads.

“In March 2000, during President Clinton’s visit, 35 Sikhs were massacred in Chittisinghpora. That attack—just like Pahalgam—was an act of terror perpetrated by the Indian state under BJP PM Vajpayee and Home Minister L.K. Advani.”

According to SFJ, the Pahalgam killings are likely a false flag operation:

  • Planned by RAW
  • Executed under NSA Ajit Doval
  • Approved by Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah
  • Diplomatically shielded by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar

The incident, which occurred during the official visit of U.S. Vice President JD Vance, follows what SFJ describes as a “chillingly familiar pattern.” SFJ outlined the Modi government’s strategic agenda behind the killings:

  1. Influence U.S. foreign policy against the Kashmir freedom movement
  2. Justify a new wave of extrajudicial killings
  3. Create fear among Hindu voters to rally support for BJP
  4. Discredit legitimate freedom movements by labeling them as terrorism

“The very same Hindutva regime that carried out assassinations in Canada, the UK, the U.S., and Pakistan is fully capable of orchestrating killings at home—and shifting the blame,” Pannun stated.

“The road to Kashmir’s independence runs through Khalistan,” the statement concludes.

“SFJ is organizing the Global Khalistan Referendum.”

SFJ has also called on Kashmiri freedom fighters to push for the UN Security Council to announce a Kashmiri independence referendum under the terms of the 1948 UN Resolution.
